AZ Saints Youth FootballWELCOME!

Welcome parents and kids to the Saints! We're happy to have you and would like you to prepare yourself for a great season.

Parents: The kids are back to school and just starting practice...If you're new to football, your children are receiving crucial preseason conditioning. We're getting them ready for the first game and their bodies must be prepared to play four quarters of football. Please pay special attention that your child is getting enough water, nutritional food and rest during this important time.

Kids: Too much sugar will make you sluggish and unable to complete your workout well. Too much food before practice or too close to practice may make you sick during the workout. Try and stay hydrated all day, don't think you can completely hydrate yourself right before practice. True hydration happens gradually and on a regular basis.

Please review additional nutritional information below:

Not only do we need the kids to focus on practicing hard, but we also need them to realize the most important part of training is nutrition and the health of our young athletes.

Water - Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!  Remember the first sign of dehydration is thirst.
Symptoms of Dehydration

Add more fruit and vegetables to your diet and kids stay away from the junk food!

No sodas, hamburgers, chips, etc...
